I've spent the last year and a half dealing with some pretty deep shit. It's been frightening and fulfilling but I feel like the time has come to enjoy some of my more shallow interests. And so, I now, unabashedly state my love of Haute Couture, the luxury goods industry, and above all, really pretty shoes!!! There I've said it! It feels liberating to not hide behind a mask of political correctness and social conscience in order to seem "deep" and "aware" and self-righteous. It's not that I don't care, it's just...well...sometimes I just want pretty. And that's okay
